The Company provides 100% employer paid Short-Term Disability Insurance for all benefit eligible employees. Short-Term Disability insurance provides you with income protection in the event you have a non-occupational illness or injury, including maternity. Benefits begin on the 8th calendar day of absence from work due to accident, hospitalization, or illness. The coverage provides 60% of weekly earnings, to a maximum of $1,000 per week. The maximum benefit length for the short-term disability coverage is 12 weeks.
